1. Staying away from school without leave is not allowed except when the cause is sudden illness or unforeseen circumstances. No leave of absence is given nor is a student allowed to go away from school during the school hours without a pervious written application from the parent/ guardian stating the reasons which may be serious one. Such reasons as birthdays, marriage celebration, domestic problems urgent work at home, time to study for an examination, etc. are not considered sufficient. Whenever leave has been sanctioned, the matter will be recorded in the regularity record. Running away from the school is punishable.
  2. After an absence from class, student must bring the reasons daily entered in the regularity record stating briefly the reason for the absence signed by the parents or guardian. (Reasons of private nature only may be submitted in the letter).
  3. Name of pupils who have been absent from school for more than one week without permission are liable to be struck off and the pupils may be re-admitted after paying a fine of Rs. 50.00
  4. To be admitted to the class, student who have been absent or those who arrive late must show the teacher-in-charge the regularity record duly countersigned by the Headmaster.
  5. 85% attendance is compulsory for a student to appear in any examination.
  6. A prior application must be submitted to the school office for any leave exceeding three consecutive day. If the student is sick and under treatment he/she may produce proper medical certificate.
